This site was only ever meant to be a little project just for myself to try and keep my brain active.
I was going to create a little website that I could use to practice web design on, using one of my trips to France as the theme, but the more I struggled to find content on France the more I found myself reminiscing about the good old days, so I thought I’d change it to a vague story about my life(so far) and wandered off down memory lane.
I have over the months as I’ve been working on this mammoth task added a French section but it is as are most of the pages, still a work in progress.

While I strive to portray the best version of myself and the rose tinted glasses are probably fixed to my eyes, if I make any attempts to blame or belittle anyone it is purely accidental. All characters in my stories are entirely fictional and any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, even when I name them directly, is purely coincidental (honest!). If you find yourself identifying with any of my characters, please take it as a compliment to your vivid imagination. 😉
Initially I tried to theme the stories with timelines based around vehicles I’ve owned and jobs I’ve had, but my memory is not what it was so the timeline will be very fluid at times with overlaps, and I find stories are getting repeated and also gaps starting appearing. I am most definitely neither a story teller nor an author, and for that I do not apologize, but also in my defence it was almost 60 years ago that some of these stories start.
I guess my starting point should be from my pre-driving days when the only choice was bicycles or my own two feet.
So, with all that in mind, as I said I’ve left the remnants of my initial French efforts somewhere but turned my focus to me, me, me…
