Fiat Strada 65cl
My first car. I think it must have been after my time in the army so that would be around 1987 perhaps.
My memories of this time are very vague, must have been during the drinking days.
I bought it off my parents, a bargain, about £400, not bad for a 7 year old car, plus I probably never paid them back for it, as was the way for the favourite child.
In my mind this had the sportiest engine you could ever imagine, tyres so wide it was difficult to fit on a normal road, 145/65/15’s I think and handling that was second to none.
The only downside was that it didn’t have rear wheel drive so I couldn’t drift it and do donuts like the popular kids down Llandow runway.
So with that in mind I bought my second car
